Pastor's ponderings

“POV: Point of View”

We naturally make plans as we go through life. The plans may be large-scale, like buying a home or moving. The plans may seem much smaller, like deciding what is for supper tonight. Either way, we have all experienced times when our plans fail or backfire. When they do, it often does not makes sense from our point of view. We can easily get frustrated, disappointed, or disheartened. Thankfully, God shares with us a “pearl of wisdom” and insight in the Bible: “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” (Proverbs 16:9) When our plans fail and it does not make sense form our point of view, thankfully God knows what He is doing. He has a much better view of the playing field, and He can make sense of anything. Even when our plans fail, God’s plans for us will never fail. It all makes sense from His point of view!

If you are looking for a church home to celebrate with this Easter, we invite you to join us!
Starting with Ash Wednesday, we have Soup & Supper every Wednesday evening at 5:45 p.m.  Followed by Worship at 7:01
